According to the Ministry of Health Pakistan, Corona virus can stay active on an infected surface for a “few hours to a few days”. Another research states that Corona virus can stay up to 5 days on any metal, ceramic and plastic surface. Thus, there is a high chance of Corona virus spreading, from touching an infected surface. In light of this, on March 14th 2020 Government of Pakistan & Punjab Primary Health organization issued issued an order for the suspension of biometric attendance in its offices via letter written to all government offices, district offices, hospitals and other private sector for suspension of biometric attendance.
