Leaders in Science and Innovation Policy Workshop



National Incubation Center is organizing a workshop on “Leaders in Science and Innovation Policy” led by internationally recognized expert faculty and leading national figures covering fundamental ideas and topics in science, technology, and innovation policy including:

• Policy for Science and Science for Policy
• Setting National Research Priorities
• Funding Science: Best Practices and Global Comparisons
• Measuring Research Performance in Science
• Innovation and Research Commercialization
• Communicating Science to the Policymakers.

About the speakers:

Ehsan Masood is a science and innovation policy journalist based in London and the 2017/18 Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT. He has worked as a writer and editor for the journal Nature and has taught Science Policy and Communication at Imperial College, London.

Dr. Athar Osama is a member of the Planning Commission Government of Pakistan responsible for S&T, ICT, and HEC. He is also the founder of Pakistan Innovation Foundation (PIF), a fellow of World Technology Network (WTN) and a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum (WEF)

The workshop shall be of immense importance to mid and senior leaders in academia and those being groomed for senior leadership positions in the corporate world, particularly:
